Attachingtheredcouplingfirstmakes iteasiertotightenconnectionwith pliers,Screwoncouplingbyhand untilseatedonthewasher.Usingpli- ers,tightenthecouplingswithan additionaltwo4hirdsturn. Locatetheremainingpieceofship- pingstrap(nottheendwiththecotter pins)fromstep3ofRemove ShippingStrap.Useittowrapthe drainhosetogetherwiththelaundry tuborstandpipe.Pushfastenerinto thenearestholeintheshippingstrap. RemainingportionofShippingStrap 4.Wrapthedrainhosetothelaundry tublegorstandpipewiththetiestrap. (Seeillustration.) Ifthewasherfaucetsandthedrain standpipearerecessed,putthe hookedendofthedrainhoseinthe standpipe.Tightlywrapthetiestrap aroundthewaterinlethosesandthe drainhose. LeveltheWasher Properlylevelingyourwasherprevents excessivenoiseandvibration. Ifthenutsarenottightagainstthe washercabinet,thewashermay vibrate. 8.Tiltthewasherforwarduntiltherear ofthewasherisatleast4in.(10,2 cm)offthefloor.Youmayhearthe self-adjustingrearfeetclickinto place.Lowerthewashertothefloor.
