    Aftercheckingallofthequestionsabove,repeatsteps1to4.

    Adjustthetopthreadtension 
    Straightstitching 
    Thegoodlookingappearanceofyourstitching 
    islargelydeterminedbythebalancedtensionof 
    bothtopandbobbinthreads.Thetensioniswell 
    balancedwhenthesetwothreadslockinthe 
    middleoflayersoffabricyouaresewing. 
    NOTE:Formostfabricthetopthreadtension 
    shouldbebalancedwithintheorange 
    zonebetween2and4onthethread 
    tensioncontrol. 
    If,whenyoustarttosew,youfindthatthe 
    stitchingisirregular,youwillneedtoadjustthe 
    tensioncontrol. 
    1.Lowerthepresserfootlever. 
    2.a.Ifthethreadsarelockingonthetop 
    surfacewiththetopthreadlyingflat,the 
    topthreadistootight.Slidethetension 
    controltotheleft(lowernumbers). 
    b.Ifthereverseishappeningwiththethreads

    Thetopthreadmayappearontheunderside

    Adjustthebobbinthreadtension 
    NOTE:Youwillrarelyneedtoadjustthebobbin 
    threadtension.Mostadjustmentsshould 
    bemadeonthetopthread.

    puckersbadly,loosenthebobbinandtop
