17Configuring your remote control You can configure your TV’s remote control to operate your other devices. Configure your remote control. zIf your device does not respond, tr y all the available codes for the device’s brand. z If none of the code works, or the brand is not listed, refer to “Using the search code function” (P. 18). 1Turn on the device manually. 2Switch the remote contro l mode to a mode that matches your device. Refer to the table on the right to select an appropriate mode. z The indicator lights for 3 seconds each time the remote control is operated. 3Find the remote control code for your device according to its brand from the “Remote control codes” manual. 4Set the remote control code. 5Point the remote control at your device, press and confirm that your device is turned off. If your device does not respond, try entering another available code. If there is no response, try the next code by pressing and press again. Repeat the process until your device turns off. 5Press to register the code. The code is now set. Confirm that the mode indicator goes out. If your TV’s remote control still does not work even after using the search code function, use your devic e’s own remote control.
