31 6 MEMORY CHANNELS ■ Copying memory contents This function transfers a memory channel’s contents to VFO (or another memory channel). This is useful when searching for signals around a memory channel frequency and for re- calling the offset frequency, subaudible tone frequency etc.DMemory➪VFOqSelect the memory channel to be copied. ➥Push [MR S.MW]to select memory mode, then rotate [R-DIAL]to select the desired memory channel. •Select the bank channel with [BAND]and [R-DIAL], if desired. wPush [MR...

34 7 SCAN OPERATION 6 ■Scan typesScanning searches for signals automatically and makes it easier to locate new stations for contact or listening purposes. There are 7 scan types and 4 resume conditions to suit your operating needs. The scan speed is at 100 ch/sec. (approx.) for VFO scan, 20 ch/sec. (approx) for memory scan.FULL SCAN (p. 35)Repeatedly scans all frequen- cies over the entire band. Some frequency ranges are not scanned according to the frequency coverage of the re- ceiver’s version. 150...
