3.Clean the scanner glass and the white plastic backing with a soft cloth or sponge that has been moistened with nonabrasive glass cleaner. Dry the glass and white plastic backing with a chamois or a cellulose sponge to prevent spotting. Define custom copy settings You can use the Administration menu to establish default settings that apply to all copy jobs. If necessary, you can override most settings for an indi vidual job. Copy a book 1.Lift the lid and place the book on the scanner glass with the upper-left corner of the book in the upper-left corner of the glass. 2.Gently close the lid. 3. Copy mixed-size originals You can copy original documents that are printed on different sizes of paper as long as the sheets of paper have one common dimension.
