Labels
To avoid damaging the printer, use only labels recommended for use in monochrome laser 
printers. Never print on the same sheet of labels more than once.
CAUTIONDo not print on both sides of labels, transparencies, envelopes, custom paper, or paper heavier 
than 216 g/m2 (58 lb bond). Damage to the printer and jams might result.

Envelope construction
Envelope construction is critical. Envelope fold  lines can vary considerably, not only between 
manufacturers, but also within a box from the same manufacturer. Successful printing on 
envelopes depends upon the quality of the envelopes. When selecting envelopes, consider the

Control-panel menus
Overview
The control-panel menu layout shows the menus that everyone uses while protecting the menus 
that administrators use. Everyone typically uses the first three menus in the list. Administrators 
and service technicians use the other items,  which can be protected with a personal 
identification number (PIN).

Note If no private, stored, quick copy, or proof and hold jobs are stored on the printer hard disk or in 
RAM, the message NO STORED JOB appears when the menu is selected.
