NoteWhen a RECORD TIME LIMIT is set, the OVERWRITE option cannot be
    changed.
RECORD TIME LIMITIn certain circumstances, it might be necessary to limit the
amount of footage stored on the DVR (to comply with data
    protection laws for example).
Recording can be limited to 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3
days, 1 week, or one month.
When the DVR has this amount of footage stored, it will
start to overwrite the earliest recorded footage.
OVERWRITEWhen ON, the DVR starts overwriting the earliest recorded
footage once the hard drive becomes full. In this case, the
percentage of hard drive used shown in live display will
    always be 99%.
When set to OFF, the DVR continues recording from that
time until the hard disk capacity is full. The DVR will
Overwrite all video that was recorded before the time that
Overwrite was set to OFF, and then the DVR will stop
    recording.
FORMATIf necessary, use this option to erase all footage from the
    DVR.

Four channels can be recorded in full D1 (4CIF@704x480) resolution, with a maximum of 2
    two channels from each group.
NoteRemember that if the SCHEDULE MODE is set to WEEKLY, then the
recording settings should be changed for each day as well as for each
    particular time.
NoteThis DVR supports a maximum recording rate across all channels of 480
frames per second at 352x240 resolution. As the settings are adjusted, the
“frames available” at the bottom left displays the number of available frames
still remaining and must always be zero or higher. See Configuring
    SIZE/FPS/QUALITY Window on page 66.
If, while changing recording settings, this figure becomes negative, then the
recording resolutions and/or frame rates must be lowered to increase the
“frames available” value to zero or above.
