6 ENGLISHEN 2.4 Seat Release the catch (2:S) and fold up the seat brack- et. Install the mounting in the rear (upper) holes as follows: 1. Install the shoulder washers (2:F) on the screws (2:G). 2. Insert the screws through the slots in the brack- et. Place a washer (2:I) between the seat and the bracket. 3. Tighten the screws in the seat. Tightening torque: 9±1.7 Nm. 7 ENGLISHEN 3.3 Clutch-parking brake (6:M) (HD) The pedal (6:M) has the follow- ing three positions: •Released. The clutch is not activated. The park- ing brake is not activated. •Depressed halfway. Forward drive disengaged. The parking brake is not activated. •Fully depressed. Forward drive disengaged. The parking brake is fully activated but not locked. 8 ENGLISHEN 3.9 POWER TAKE-OFF (7:Q) A lever for engaging and disengaging the power take-off for operating the cutting deck. Two positions: 1.Forward position – power take-off disengaged. 2. Backward position – power take-off engaged. 3.10 CLUTCH RELEASE LEVER (fig. 8) (HD) A lever for disengaging the variable transmission. 9 ENGLISHEN With the engine running and the driver sitting on the seat, check as follows: - select a gear, lift your weight off the seat – the engine must stop (only Man). - press the drive pedal so that the machine starts to move, release the drive pedal – the machine should stop (only HD). - engage the power take-off, lift your weight off the seat – the engine should stop. 10 ENGLISHEN 6.3 CLEANINGTo reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, silencer, battery and fuel tank free from grass, leaves and oil. To reduce the risk of fire, regularly check the machine for oil and/or fuel leakage. When washing the machine with water under high pressure, do not point the jet directly at the transmission.
