You need to configure your network settings to use the same WEP security settings as those used by the other computers. For more information, see “Using the Broadcom Wireless Configuration Utility” on page 108. If you use the Intel or Agere ORiNOCO mini PCI card, you cannot connect to a peer-to-peer network using Windows 2000 without first creating a profile in a client manager program. If your Gateway computer has built in wireless networking using the Intel mini PCI card, see “Using Intel PROSet” on page 112. If your Gateway computer has built in wireless networking using the Agere ORiNOCO mini PCI card, see “Using the ORiNOCO Client Manager” on page 118. If your Windows 2000 computer does not use the Broadcom Wireless Configuration Utility, Intel client manager, or Agere client manager, see the documentation that came with your wireless networking solution.
