Zoom out Zoom in Zoom indicator Holding the Camera Holding the Camera Hold the camera steady with both hands and brace your elbows against your sides. Shaking or unsteady hands can blur your shots. To prevent pictures that are out of focus or too dark (underexposed), keep your fingers and other objects away from the flash and from the protective glass covering the lens.

If the subject is poorly lit, the AF-assist illuminator may light; see “C AF ILLUMINATOR”(P 96) for information on disabling the illuminator. If the camera is able to focus , it will beep twice. When taking important photographs, take a test shot and check the results. 1 Press the a button. The most recent picture will be displayed. 2 View additional pictures. Press the selector right to view pictures in the order recorded, left to view pictures in reverse order. Press the shutter button halfway to exit to shooting mode.
