The supplied software can be used to copy pictures to a computer, where they can be stored, viewed, 
organized, and printed.  Before proceeding, install the software as described below.  Do 
NOT connect the 
camera to the computer until installation is complete .

3  Exit any applications that may be running and insert the installer CD in a CD-ROM drive.

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light.  Higher 
values can be used to reduce blur when light-
ing is poor; note, however, that mottling may 
appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities.  If 
AUTO , AUTO (800) , or AUTO (400)  is selected, 
the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in 
response to shooting conditions.  The maximum 
values that will be selected by the camera at set-
tings of  AUTO (800)  and AUTO (400)  are 800 and

Pictures with an aspect ratio of 4 : 3 have the same 
proportions as the camera display.  Pictures with an 
aspect ratio of 3 : 2 have the same proportions as a 
frame of 35-mm film, while an aspect ratio of 16 : 9 
is suited to display on High Definition (HD) devices.
