• Vertical or horizontal streaks may appear in movies containing very bright subjects.  This is normal and 
does not indicate a malfunction.
•  Recording movies for a long time or using the camera  at high ambient temperatures may increase the cam-
era temperature.  This is normal and does not indicate

•  Sounds made by the camera may be recorded.
• The  E LCD MODE  option in the setup menu is fixed 
at  30 fps in movie mode.

If the printer supports PictBridge, the camera can be connected directly to the printer and 
pictures can be printed without first being copied to a computer.  Note that depending on 
the printer, not all the functions described below may be supported.

2  Tip: Printing the Date of Recording
To print the date of recording on pictures, press DISP/
BACK  in steps 1–2 to display the PictBridge menu (see 
“Printing the DPOF Print Order,” below).  Press the se-
lector up or down to highlight PRINT WITH DATE  s 
and press  MENU/OK to return to the PictBridge display 
(to print pictures without the date of recording, select 
PRINT WITHOUT DATE ).

Printing Pictures via USB
The K PRINT ORDER (DPOF)  option in the 
playback menu can be used to create a digital 
“print order” for PictBridge-compatible printers 
( P  101) or devices that support DPOF.
 DPOF
DPOF  (D igital  Print  Order  Format) is standard 
that allows pictures to be printed from “print 
orders” stored on a memory card.  The infor-
mation in the order includes the pictures to 
be printed, date imprint, and the number of copies of 
each picture.
