LOCKING AND UNLOCKING You can use the power door lock control or the remote control to lock and unlock your vehicle. Power Door Locks The power door lock control is on the driver and front passenger door panels. Unlock. A Lock. Double Locking the Doors WARNING Do not use double locking when passengers or animals are inside your vehicle. The doors cannot be unlocked or opened from the inside when double locked. Double locking is a theft protection feature that prevents someone from opening the doors from the inside. It will only operate if all of the doors are fully closed. PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM Principle of Operation The system prevents someone from starting the engine with an incorrectly coded key. Note: Do not leave correctly coded keys in the vehicle.
