P-64
designhad
beenident1f1ed.Theseincludedashortsightradius.smallmagazine
capacityandheavyd.oubleactiontriggerpull.In1972someminor
modificationsweretothetriggermechanismandthehammerwas
givenalargerhammerspur.
Thetriggerpullwaslittlechangedandmagazinecapacityremained
sixrounds.ThePolishforcesdesiredachangeandaseriesofprototype
servicepistolsweremade:P-70.P-75.P-78A.P-78B.etc.Inthelate
1970s.theP-83(0productionversionofthe
P-78BI
wasadoptedtore-
plocetheP-64....
