Lower thescanner unit.
 The
print head moves toits home position andtheprinter startscharging theink. This takes about
 90
seconds. Whenyouseeaconfirmation messageonthe screen, inkcharging isfinished.
 Caution:
Neverturnoffthe product whilethepower lightisflashing oryou willwaste ink.

you seeanerror screen tellingyouanink cartridge isinstalled incorrectly, liftup the scanner unit
 and
