     To
    set upyour projector formonitoring andcontrol usingaCrestron RoomView system,makesureyour
     computer
    andprojector areconnected tothe network.
     Note:
    Ifyou want touse theCrestron RoomView systemwhentheprojector isturned off,you need to
     adjust
    theStandby Modesettings inthe Extended menu.

    Press theMenu button.
     2.
    Select theNetwork menuandpress Enter.
     3.

    SettheCrestron RoomView settingtoOn toallow theprojector tobe detected.

    When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave

    Turn offthe projector, thenturniton again toenable thesetting.

    buttons. Youcanscroll through buttonoptions atthe bottom ofthe screen.
     Note:
    These on-screen buttonsdonot directly correspond tothe projectors remotecontrolbuttons:

    Toview information abouttheprojector, clicktheInfo tab.

    Tochange projector, Crestron,andpassword settings,clicktheTools tab,select settings onthe

    Connect thepower cordtothe projectors powerinlet.
     2.
    Plug thepower cordintoanelectrical outlet.
     The
    projectors On/Standby lightturns blue.Thisindicates thattheprojector isreceiving power,but
     is
    not yetturned on(itisin standby mode).
     Note:
    WithDirect Power Onturned on,theprojector turnsonassoon asyou plug itin.
     3.
    Press theOnbutton onthe projector orremote controltoturn onthe projector.
     The
    projector beepsandthestatus lightflashes blueasthe projector warmsup.After about 30
     seconds,
    thestatus lightstops flashing andturns blue.
     Warning:
    Neverlookintotheprojector lenswhen thelamp ison. This candamage youreyes andis
     especially
    dangerous forchildren andpets.
     Note:
    Ifthe Auto Source Searchsettinginthe Extended menuisenabled, theprojector
     automatically
    detectstheinput signal whenyouturn iton.
     If
    you donot see aprojected imagerightaway, trythe following:
     •
    Turn onthe connected computerorvideo device.
     •
    Insert aDVD orother video media, andpress theplay button (ifnecessary).
     •
    Press theSource Searchbuttononthe projector orthe Search buttononthe remote controltodetect
     the
    video source.

    Turning
    Offthe Projector
     Before
    turning offthe projector, shutdown anycomputer connected toitso you canseethecomputer
     display
    duringshutdown.
     Note:
    Turnoffthis product whennotinuse toprolong thelifeofthe projector. Lamplifewill vary
     depending
    uponmode selected, environmental conditions,andusage. Brightness decreasesovertime.
     1.
    Press theStandby buttononthe projector orremote control.
     2.
    Ifyou seeashutdown confirmation screen,presstheStandby buttononthe projector orremote
     control
    again.(Toleave theprojector on,press anyother button.)
     The
    projector beepstwice,thelamps turnoff,and theStatus lightturns off.
     Note:
    WithEpsons InstantOfftechnology, thereisno cool-down periodsoyou canpack upthe
     projector
    fortransport rightaway (ifnecessary).
     Caution:
    Donot turn theprojector onimmediately afterturning itoff. Turning theprojector onand off
     frequently
    mayshorten thelifeofthe lamp.
     3.
    Totransport orstore theprojector, makesuretheStatus lightisoff, then unplug thepower cord.
     Caution:
    Toavoid damaging theprojector orlamp, never unplug thepower cordwhen theStatus
     light
    ison orflashing blue.

    Carefully rotatethedistortion ringallthe way counter-clockwise.
     Note:
    Becareful nottoshift theshort throw lenswhen adjusting itto prevent theprojected image
     from
    shifting.
     3.
    Support thefront ofthe lens withonehand andusetheother tocarefully rotatethefocus ringuntil
     the
    center ofthe image isfocused.
