    send anHDMI orRS-232C signaloveralong distance, youcanconnect theprojector toan optional
     HDBaseT
    transmitter usinga100Base-TX networkcable.Thisisuseful whenyouwant tosend asignal
     to
    or control theprojector fromaremote location, suchasinahall orevent site,since youcanusea
     network
    cableupto328 feet(100 m)inlength. Toensure properdatatransmission, useaCategory 5e
     STP
    cable orbetter.

    Turn offthe projector andHDBaseT transmitter.
     Note:
    Makesuretheprojector andHDBaseT transmitter areturned offwhen connecting or
     disconnecting
    anetwork cablebetween thetwo devices.
     2.
    Connect oneendofthe network cabletothe HDBaseT portonthe transmitter.
     3.
    Connect theother endtothe projectors HDBaseTport.
     Note:
    Seethedocumentation thatcame withtheHDBaseT transmitter forinstructions onconnecting
     it

     Note:
    Toenable communication fromtheEthernet andserial portsonthe transmitter, selectOnasthe
     Control
    Communications settinginthe projectors Extendedmenu.Turning onthis setting disables the
     projectors
    LAN,RS-232C ,and Remote ports.Ifyou connected anExtron XTPtransmitter orswitcher to
     the
    projectors HDBaseTport,select Onasthe Extron XTPsetting inthe projectors Extendedmenu.

     speakers.
    Youcancontrol thevolume usingtheprojectors remotecontrol.
     You
    canalso connect theprojector toan amplifier withspeakers.
     If
    you want tooutput audiofromtheexternal speakers whentheprojector isturned off,you need to
     select
    Communication Onforthe Standby Modesetting andAlways Onforthe A/V Output settingin
