5. Loosen thescrews securing thelamp tothe projector. Thescrews donot come allthe way out. 6. Liftupthe lamp handle andgently pullthelamp outofthe projector. Note: Thelamp(s) inthis product containmercury. Pleaseconsult yourstate andlocal regulations regardingdisposalorrecycling. Donot putinthe trash. 142
7. Gently insertthenew lamp intotheprojector alongtheguide rail.Ifitdoes notfiteasily, makesureit is facing theright way. Press thehandle down. Caution: Donot touch anyglass onthe lamp assembly toavoid premature lampfailure. 8. Tighten thescrews tosecure thelamp. 143
9. Replace thelamp cover andtighten thescrew tosecure it. Note: Besure thelamp cover issecurely installedorthe lamp willnot come on. Reset thelamp timer tozero tokeep trackofthe new lamp ’s usage.
