Cleaning

Turn offthe projector andunplug thepower cord.
 2.
Slide theairfilter cover latchandopen theairfilter cover.

Pull theairfilter outofthe projector.
 4.
Tap each sideofthe airfilter 4to 5times toshake offany excess dust.
 Caution:
Donot use excessive forcewhen tapping theairfilter, oritmay crack andbecome
 unusable.
Donot rinse theairfilter inwater, oruse anydetergent orsolvent toclean it.Do not use
 canned
air;the gases mayleave aresidue orpush dustanddebris intotheprojectors opticsorother
 sensitive
areas.

Vacuum thefront ofthe airfilter (theside withthetabs) toremove anyremaining dust.
 Note:
Ifdust isdifficult toremove orthe airfilter isdamaged, replacetheairfilter.

Place theairfilter back inthe projector asshown andpush gently untilitclicks intoplace.
 7.
Close theairfilter cover.

Replacing
theAirFilter
 You
need toreplace theairfilter inthe following situations:

Pull theairfilter outofthe projector.
 Note:
Airfilters contain polypropylene. Disposeofused airfilters according tolocal regulations.

Place thenew airfilter inthe projector asshown andpush gently untilitclicks intoplace.

Use thescrewdriver includedwiththereplacement lamptoloosen thescrew securing thelamp
 cover,
andthen remove thelamp cover.
 Warning:
Ifthe lamp isbroken, glassfragments maybeloose inside thelamp chamber. Becareful
 removing
anybroken glasstoavoid injury.
 4.
Loosen thescrews securing thelamp tothe projector. Thescrews donot come allthe way out.

5.
Hold thelamp byitshandle andgently pullitout ofthe projector.
 Note:
Thelamp(s) inthis product containmercury. Pleaseconsult yourstate andlocal
 regulations
regardingdisposalorrecycling. Donot putinthe trash.
 6.
Gently insertthenew lamp intotheprojector. Ifitdoes notfiteasily, makesureitis facing theright
 way.

Push inthe lamp firmly andtighten thescrews tosecure it.
 8.
Replace thelamp cover andtighten thescrew tosecure it.
 Note:
Besure thelamp cover issecurely installedorthe lamp willnot come on.
