86 Maintenance PROCEDURE Turn off the projectors power, wait until the cool- down period has ended and a pip-pip confirmation buzzer sounds, and then disconnect the power cable. The cool-down period lasts for about 20 seconds. Wait until the lamp has cooled down, then remove the lamp cover from the base of the projector. 87 Maintenance Take out the lamp. Hold the lamp as shown in the illustration below and lift it up and out of the projector. When the cumulative operating time reaches a certain point, it causes the replacement warning message to be displayed.
