32Making Basic Adjustments Locking the Projector The projector includes two lock settings to prevent the image from being accidentally changed once it’s adjusted, and to keep children from turning on the projector without adult supervision. You can also change the menu display, sleep mode settings, and other projector features. Using the Menu System You can access the menu system either from the remote control or the buttons on the projector’s control panel. For example, if you’re projecting in a brightly lit room or onto an especially large screen, you may need to increase the brightness. Use the first three settings described below to make the most visible changes. If you only need to make slight adjustments, you can fine-tune the picture with the remaining settings.
