Getting Started 11 To charge the battery, connect the AC adapter as shown below. Connect the other end to the power cord, and plug it into an electrical outlet. Caution: Do not connect the AC adapter when the battery is not installed; this can damage the viewer. Turn off the viewer before disconnecting the AC adapter. Using Memory Cards 17 Using the CF Card Slot You can use Type I and Type II CompactFlash cards or Microdrive cards in the CF Card slot. If you have a CompactFlash adapter, you can also use other types of cards, as described in “Inserting and Removing Memory Cards” on page 16.
