Otherwise, onlythearea inside thecurrently selectedmarquee willbescanned. • To delete amarquee, clickthemarquee, thenclickthe DeleteMarquee icon. 3. Auto AreaSegmentation Makes grayscale imagesclearerandtextrecognition moreaccurate byseparating thetext from the graphics. Color Enhance Enhances thered, green, orblue shades inthe scanned image. Brightness Adjusts theoverall lightness anddarkness ofthe scanned image. Contrast Adjusts thedifference betweenthelight anddark areas ofthe overall scanned image. Threshold Adjusts thelevel atwhich blackareas intext and lineartare delineated, improvingtextrecognition in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) programs.
