Follow these steps to replace the lamp.
Turn  off  the  projector  and  disconnect  the  AC  power c o r d .    A l l ow  t h e  p r o j e c t o r  t o  c o o l  fo r  a t  l e a s t  4 5 minutes.
Loosen  3  screws  of  the  lamp  with  a  screwdriver  and pull  out  the  lamp  upwards  ver tically  by  grasping  the handles.
Replace  the  lamp  with  a  new  one  and  tighten  the  3 screws  back  into  position.    Make  sure  that  the  lamp  is set  properly.    Replace  the  lamp  cover  and...

Be  sure  to  reset  the  Lamp  replacement  counter  after  the  lamp  is  replaced.    When  the  Lamp  replacement counter is reset, the LAMP REPLACE indicator stops lighting.

Troubleshooting
Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check the items below once again.
– Make  sure  you  have  proper ly  connected  the  projector  to  per ipheral  equipment  as  descr ibed  on 
pages15-17.
–  Make sure all equipment is connected to AC outlet and the power is turned on.
–  When you operate the projector with a computer and it does not project an image, restart the computer.

work .–  Check the batteries.
–  Make  sure  there  is  no  obstr uction  between  the  projector  and 
remote control.
–  Make  sure  you  are  not  too  far  from  the  projector  when  using  the 
remote control.  Maximum operating range is 16.4' (5 m).

Indicators and Projector Condition
The projector is off. (The AC power cord is unplugged.)
The  projector  is  preparing  for  stand-by  or  the  projection  lamp  is being cooled down.  The projector cannot be turned on until cooling is completed.
