Lamp Lamp
The projector uses a high-pressure mercury glass lamp. The lamp can break with aloud bang, or burn out,if jolted or scratched, handled while hot, or worn over time.
Note that each lamp has a different lifetime, and some may burst or burn out soon after
you start using them. In addition, when the bulb bursts, it is possible for shards of
glassto fly into the lamp housing, and for gas containing mercuryto escape from the
projector’s vent holes.

After making sure that the projector has cooled
adequately, slide the knob of a lamp cover lock as
shown in the Figure. Then, one side of the lamp
cover is raised. Pull up the lamp cover and remove
it, as shown in the Figure. If the indicators or a message prompts you to replace the lamp, replace the lamp as soon
as possible.
Turn off the projector, and unplug the power cord. Allow the lamp bulb to cool for at
least 45 minutes.

Apply a vacuum cleaner to the top of the filter cover and
the air filter to clean.
If the soiling will not come off the air filter, or it becomes
damaged, it needs to be replaced.
If the air filter needs to be replaced, contact your dealer
to prepare a new air filter. Tell the dealer your air filter
type.
