HDMI 1 and 2
To.display.3D video,.you.MUST .connect.a.signal.to.both.HDMI.inputs..
If.you.are.using.a.side-by-side.3D.signal,.connect.the.same.signal.to.both.inputs,.
using.a.signal.splitter.if.necessary.
If.you.are.using.a.left/right dual.3D.signal,.connect.the.left.signal.to.one.input.and.
the.right.signal.to.the.other.
If.necessary,.the.images.can.be.swapped.using.the.3D Settings.sub-menu.of.the.
Main.menu.

Control Connections
Ser vice Port
The.Service.Port.is.used.to.download.firmware.updates,.issued.from.time.to.time.by.
Digital.Projection.
RS232
All.of.the.projector’s.features.can.be.controlled.via.a.serial.connection,.using.the.text.
strings.described.in.the.Remote Communications Guide.
Wired Remote Control
If.infrared.signals.from.the.remote.control.cannot.reach.the.projector.due.to.excessive.
distance.or.obstructions.such.as.walls.or.cabinet.doors,.you.can.connect.an.external.
IR.repeater.to.the.Remote.control.input,.and.position.its.IR.sensor.within.range.of.the.
operator.
 Note that plugging in the remote control cable will disable the infra-red.
Trigger 1 and 2 Outputs
The. Trigger.outputs.are.activated.by.one.of.the.three.following.conditions,.as.set.in.the.
Control.menu:
Screen trigger:.can.be.connected.to.an.electrically.operated.screen,.automatically.
deploying.the.screen.when.the.projector.starts.up,.and.retracting.the.screen.when.
the.projector.shuts.down.
Aspect Ratio trigger:.can.be.used.to.control.screen.shuttering.for.different.aspect.
ratios.
RS232 trigger:.can.be.used.to.control.the.screen.or.screen.shuttering.on.receipt.of.
an.RS232.command.
3D Sync Output
Connect.to.a.Z.Screen.or.3D.IR.emitter.
