Follow the instructions in Preparing to Work Inside the Computer. 2. Remove the keyboard. 3. Remove the hinge cover. 4. Insert a non-marring plastic scribe into the latch mechanism at the left\ side of the microprocessor retaining clip. CAUTION: Allow the computer to cool to room temperature before working inside the computer. NOTICE: To avoid damaging the computer, perform the following steps before you begin working inside the computer. 1. Ensure that the work surface is flat and clean to prevent scratching the\ computer cover. 2. Save any work in progress and exit all open programs. 3. Turn off the computer and all attached devices. HINT: Before turning off the computer, ensure that the computer is not in a power-management mode. 4.
