LOCATION OF VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND UNIT NUMBERS VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) The Vehicle Identification Number and the recommended maximum vehicle weights are stamped on a plate riveted to the top of the brake pedal box in the engine compartment.
