    Neverallowchildrenunderage16tooperatetheunit.

    movingparts.Neveroperateaunitinbarefeet, 
    sandalsorsneakers.Wearglovsswhenfeeding 
    matedalinthechipperchuteorshredderhopper. Neverplaceyourhands,feet,oranypartofyourbody 
    intotheshredderhopper,chipperchute,discharge 
    opening,ornearanymovingpartwhiletheengineis 
    running.Keepclearofthedischargeopeningatall 
    times.Ifitbecomesnecassarytopushmatedalinto 
    thechipperchuteorshredderhopper,useasmall 
    diameterstick,NOTYOURHANDS. 
    Ifitisnecessaryforanyreasontounclogthefeed 
    intakeordischargeopeningsortoinspectorrepairany 
    partofthemachinewhereamovingpartcancomein 
    contactwithyourbodyorclothing,stopthemachine, 
    allowittocool,disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthe 
    sparkplugandmoveitawayfromthesparkplug 
    beforeattemptingtounclog,inspectorrepair. 
    Donotoperateunitwhileundertheinfluenceofalcohol 
    ordrugs. 
    Themachineshouldonlybeoperatedonalevel 
    surface.Neveroperateyourunitonaslippery,wet, 
    muddyoricysurface.Keepyourworkareacleanand 
    clearofbranchesorobstacleswhichcouldcauseyou 
    tostumbleandfall.Donotoverreach.Maintaining 
    properfootingandbalanceisessentialtopreventing

    Donottransportmachinewhileengineisrunning. 
    Ifthecuttingmechanismstdkesaforeignobjectorif 
    yourmachineshouldstartmakinganunusualnoiseor 
    vibration,immediatelystoptheengineandallowthe 
    machinetocometoacompletestop.Disconnectthe 
    sparkplugwireandmoveitawayfromthesparkplug. 
    Takethefollowingsteps. 
    a.Inspectfordamage. 
    b.Repairorreplaceanydamagedparts. 
    o.Checkforanyloosepartsandtightentoassure 
    continuedsafeoperation. 
    Neverattempttoattachorremovecatcherbagwhen

    children.Checkandaddfuelbeforestartingthe 
    engine.Neverremovegascaporaddfuelwhile

    theimpellerandallmovingpartshavestopped. 
    Disconnectthesparkplugwireandkeepwireaway 
    fromsparkplugtopreventaccidentalstarting.Donot 
    useflammablesolutionstocleanairfilter. 
    Checkthebladeandenginemountingscrewsat 
    frequentintervalsforpropertightness.Alsovisually 
    inspectbladesforwearand/ordamage(e.g.,bent, 
    cracked).Replacewithbladeswhichmeetoriginal 
    equipmentspecifications. 
    Keepallnuts,bolts,andscrewsfighttobesurethe 
    equipmentisinsafeworkingcondition. 
    Nevertamparwithsafetydevices.Checktheirproper 
    operationregularly. 
    Afterstrikingaforeignobject,immediatelystopthe 
    engine,disconnectthesparkplugwirefromthespark 
    plug,andthoroughlyinspecttheunitforanydamage. 
    Repairdamagebeforestartingandoperatingunit. 
    Donotalterortamperwiththeenginesgovernor 
    setting.Thegovernorcontrolsthemaximumsafe 
    operatingspeedoftheengine.Over-speedingthe 
    engineisdangerousandwillcausedamagetothe
