During this operation it is advisable to: 
•  avoid  working  too  close  to  the  ground  to  prevent damage to the cutting parts. 
During cutting operations sharpen the chain regularly.

SYNTHETIC  OIL  FOR  TWOSTROKE  MOTORS. 
QUANTITY = 2%. 
PETROL-OIL PERCENTAGE 50:1 = 2% oil. 
  Warning: if you do not have synthetic oil for two-stroke  motors  to  prepare  the  mix  and  you  have 
to use mineral oil specific for two-stroke motors, 
you shall prepare a mix with 4% oil. 
PETROL-OIL PERCENTAGE 25:1 = 4% oil. 
  WARNING  Inflammable  liquid!  Keep  the  fuel  in  suitable  containers  and  in  a  safe  place  away 
from  heat  sources  or  flames.  Do  not  leave  the

To  turn  the  chainsaw  off,  press  the  current  button  by turning it to Stop.
Setting the carburettor 
The  carburettor  setting  is  done  by  the  manufacturer  on 
each  machine  produced.  Check  that  the  filter  is  clean 
and  correctly  mounted.  The  throttle  adjustment  screw  is 
set  so  that  the  cutting  tool  is  stationary  when  the  motor 
is  running  idle.  If  the  cutting  tool  is  not  stationery  when 
the motor is running idle, turn the throttle adjusting screw...

  NOTE: Do not cut diagonally as this causes irregular wear and irreparable damage to the bar. 
Normal Maintenance 
Operations that are easily performed by the user and are 
required  to  keep  the  chain  saw  efficient  for  regular  use 
are described below. 
Air filter (fig. 13) 
Through use, sawdust clogs the intake filter. To guarantee 
engine performance this must be cleaned frequently with 
a brush and petrol. Take care not to damage the filter.

b) Removing branches 
•  Always  remain  on  the  opposite  side  from  the branches to be cut. •  Always start from the base of the trunk and proceed towards the tip. • Always cut from top to bottom. 
  Pay attention to leaning branches or those under 
tension. Do not lodge the chain in the wood. 
c) Felling (fig. 16) 
When felling always take into consideration the instructions 
indicated previously in the “Safety Instructions”.
