7.KEEPREVOLVERPOINTINGINSAFEDIRECTION.Rotate cylinderuntilemptychamberisunderhammer.Withthumbfirmly onhammerspur,drawhammerbackslightlytodisengagetheHalf- Cocknotch.Squeezethetriggeronlylongenoughtoallowhammer tomoveforwardandclearHalf-Cocknotch,thenreleasetrigger completelyandlowerhammercontrollingitsmovementwithyour thumb,intothefullydownposition. IMPORTANT:Itissometimespossiblethattheboltwillnotcorrectly engagecylindertolockitsothatemptychambermaynotremainin frontofhammer.Checkforcorrectlockingbyattemptingtorotate cylindergentlycounterclockwisebyhand.Ifitisalreadylocked,the cylinderwillnotmove.Ifitwasunlocked,youshouldhearthebolt clickintoengagementwiththecylindertolockit. 8.Lookattherearofthecylindertomakesuretheemptychamber isinfrontofthehammer;ifitis,closetheloadinggatesothatitis againflushwiththerevolverframe.Iftheemptychamberisnotin frontofthehammer,drawhammerbackintoHalf-Cocknotch, realignthecylinderandrepeatitems6through8untilempty chamberislockedinfrontofhammer. AlternateLoadingSequence FollowToLoadsequenceexceptatStep6dothis:Afterloading firstroundasinSteps4and5,leavenextchamberempty.Then loadremaining4chambers.Thiswillpositiontheemptychamber underthehammerwhenyourotatethecylinderandagainseethe firstchamberyouloaded. @ SAFETYDEPENDSONYOU
