    7.KEEPREVOLVERPOINTINGINSAFEDIRECTION.Rotate
    cylinderuntilemptychamberisunderhammer.Withthumbfirmly
    onhammerspur,drawhammerbackslightlytodisengagetheHalf-
    Cocknotch.Squeezethetriggeronlylongenoughtoallowhammer
    tomoveforwardandclearHalf-Cocknotch,thenreleasetrigger
    completelyandlowerhammercontrollingitsmovementwithyour
    thumb,intothefullydownposition.
    IMPORTANT:Itissometimespossiblethattheboltwillnotcorrectly
    engagecylindertolockitsothatemptychambermaynotremainin
    frontofhammer.Checkforcorrectlockingbyattemptingtorotate
    cylindergentlycounterclockwisebyhand.Ifitisalreadylocked,the
    cylinderwillnotmove.Ifitwasunlocked,youshouldhearthebolt
    clickintoengagementwiththecylindertolockit.
    8.Lookattherearofthecylindertomakesuretheemptychamber
    isinfrontofthehammer;ifitis,closetheloadinggatesothatitis
    againflushwiththerevolverframe.Iftheemptychamberisnotin
    frontofthehammer,drawhammerbackintoHalf-Cocknotch,
    realignthecylinderandrepeatitems6through8untilempty
    chamberislockedinfrontofhammer.
    AlternateLoadingSequence
    FollowToLoadsequenceexceptatStep6dothis:Afterloading
    firstroundasinSteps4and5,leavenextchamberempty.Then
    loadremaining4chambers.Thiswillpositiontheemptychamber
    underthehammerwhenyourotatethecylinderandagainseethe
    firstchamberyouloaded.

    4.KEEPINGFINGERSAWAYFROMTRIGGER,alignchamberas
    showninFigure6andpushejectorrod,(locatedunderthebarrel)
    backwardsthroughcylinderchamber,forcingouttheliveroundor
    emptycase,whichshouldberemovedfromrevolver.Allowejector
    rodtoreturnforwardunderitsspringaction.
    5.Rotatecylinderclockwisetoalignnextchamberwithejectorrod
    andrepeatstep4above;repeatuntilallchambersareempty.
    6.Closeloadinggate.
    7.Withthumbfirmlyonhammerspur,drawhammerbackslightlyto
    disengageHalf-Cocknotch.Squeezetriggeronlylongenoughto
    allowhammertomoveforwardandclearHalf-Cocknotch,then
    releasetriggercompletelysothatthehammercanbesafety
    loweredtoitsfullydownposition.

    Half-Cocknotchwillthenbeengagedandcylindermustberotated
    untilemptychamberisinfrontofhammer.Drawhammerback
    slightlytodisengageHalf-Cocknotch.Squeezetriggeronlylong
    enoughtoallowhammertomoveforwardandclearHalf-Cock
    notch,thenreleasetriggercompletelysothatifyoulosetheoppor-
    tunitytofire,unloadyourrevolveraspreviouslydescribed.
