MAINTENANCEINSTRUCTIONS
StrippingforCleaning-Disassembly
Whendisassemblingthesubmachinegunbecareful,ensurethatnosmall
partsorspringareejected,lostorcauseinjury.
POINTYOURSUBMACHINEGUNINASAFEDIRECTION!
1.Removethemagazine.
2.Extendtheshoulderstock.
3.Holdthesubmachinegunwiththerighthandbythegrip.Depresstheprotruding
endofthetakedownpin,whichprojectsfromtherightsideofthereceiver.
(Themagazinebasecanbeusedtofacilitatethisoperation,andalternatively,
placethesubmachinegunbarrelagainstanyfixedobjectandwithappropriate
forcelimitthepressureoftherecoilsprings.)Thenusingthethumbandindex
fingerofyourlefthand,graspthetakedownpinanddrawittotheleft,uptoits
stop(Fig.8).
4.Graspthereceiverwiththelefthandfromabove,pullitoutafewmillimeters
tothefront,andhingeitupwards(Fig.9).
5.Fullyretracttheboltbymeansoftileboltcockingknobstothepointwherethe
boltcockingknobsareatthewidenedendsofthereceiverlongitudinalslots.
6.Pulloutbothcockingknobstothesides.Separatetheboltfromthereceiver.
CAUTION:
Nofurtherdisassemblyisneededforroutinemaintenanceandpreserving.
Neverattempttodisassembleyoursubmachinegunfurther.Ifyouassumethat
yoursubmachinegunrequiresadjustmentorrepair,thenentrustthistasktoa
competentgunsmith.

Ifthesubmachinegunhasnotbeenfired,orifonlyafewcartridgeshavebeen
fired,cleanthebarrelboreandcartridgechamberbymeansofacleanpatch
attachedtothecleaningrod.

Whenthebarrelboreisverydirty,applyaguncleaningsolutionusing
acleaningbrush.Letthesolventactforabout10minutes(timemayvary
dependingonthesolventagentbeingused).Thenthoroughlyscruboutthebarrel
bore.Subsequently,drythebarrelboreandcartridgechamberwithacleanpatch
andcheckthatallpowderresiduesorfoulinghavebeenremoved.Ifnecessary
repeatthisprocedure.
Thecleaningrodandthebrushmustbeinsertedintothebarrelborefromthe
chamber,topreventwearordamagetothemuzzle.Passthebrushalltheway
throughthebarrelborebeforereversingthemovement.Ifyoutrytochange
directionswiththebrushstillinthebarrel,thebrushcouldstick.
CleaningofOtherSubmachineGunParts
Otherpartsofthesubmachinegunshouldbecleanedwiththeenclosed
cleaningaccessories,oradrycloth,anoldtoothbrush,abrassbristlebrushora
woodenscraper.Preservingoilorparaffinoilcanbeused.Neverusetheagent
designedforbarrelborecleaning!Thesesolutionscouldremaininthejoints,and
aftersometime,couldcausecorrosion.
Checkthatparticlesofclothorbrushbristleshavenotbecomelodgedinany
partofthefirearm.
Preserving
Whenthebarrelbore,cartridgechamber,andallaccessiblepartsareqean
anddry,wipethesepartswithaclothsoakedingunoilorapplytheoilinaspray.
Removeallexcessoil.
Beforeshooting,alwayswipethebarrelboredry.Whenoperatingatverylow
temperatures,removetheoilfromallaccessibleparts,orapplyaspeciallubricant
fortheseconditions.
Theuseofthickpreservingagents,preservinggreases,etc.,isonlyforlongterm
storageindemandingclimateenvironment.Beforeanyuseofthesubmachine
gun,itmustbethoroughlyremovedfromallpartsofthefirearm.

tooheavilygreased.slightlylubricate,asrequired.
MisfireDefectivecartridgePullthetriggeragain.If
adischargeisnotinitiated,
followtheSafetyInstructions
describedinpoint19.
Firingpinholefouled(dirty)orDisassembleandcleanthe
improperlubricationagentusedfiringpinorusealow
underlowtemperatureconditions.temperaturelubricant.
Ashotsoundsweak,Theprimerhasbeenactivated,Unloadthesubmachinegun
combinedwithfailuretobutnopowderchargewasinsideandcheckthatthebulletis
ejectthecartridgethecartridgecase.notlodgedinthebarrel.A
case.subsequentshotcouldcause
damagetothebarrel.
ThespentcasehasnotCartridgechamber,extractororCleanandwipethe
beenejected.ammunitionisdirty,orunsuitablesubmachinegundry,or
lubricantusedinlowlubricatelightlywitha
temperatureenvironment.suitableagent.Usenewand
cleanammunition.
InthecourseofThebolt,guidingrails,ortherateCleanthesubmachinegun
shootingtheboltstaysreduceraredirty.dry,orasthecasemaybe
totherear.lubricateslightlywith
appropriatelubricatingagent.

TROUBLESHOOTING,CAUSESANDREMEDIES
Ifyoursubmachinegunisproperlyusedandmaintained,malfunctionswill
rarelyoccur.However,ifsuchasituationshouldoccur,pleaseobservethe
followinginstructions.
CAUTION-Shouldamalfunctionoccur,thepossibilityofunintentional
dischargeissubstantiallyincreased.Forthisreason,carefullyobservetheSafety
Instructionsalreadymentionedabove.Keepthesubmachinegunpointedina
safedirection,donotturnthesubmachinegunagainstyourbodyoranyone
elses!Donotplaceyourhandsinfrontofthebarrel!
Usingdummycartridges,practicefastclearingofthemalfunctionsas
describedbelow.
Ifyoucannotclearawayanymalfunctioninthemannerdescribedabove,
entrustthesubmachineguntoacompetentgunsmithforinspectionandrepair.
