3-2 Chapter 3 ScanFront Setup 1.Before Setting Up the Scanner Before setting up the scanner, you need to move it to the installation site, and connect the AC adaptor and network cable. ❏Installation Location The performance of this scanner is affected by the environment in which it is installed. CAUTION Make sure to use only the AC adapter and power cord included with the scanner. aConnect the power cord and AC adapter. bInsert the plug of the AC adapter into the power connector. cConnect the power cord to the wall outlet. ❏Connecting the Network Cable Insert the network cable connector (RJ-45) into the LAN port.
