75 MAINTENANCE Cleaning the Projector Clean the projector frequently to prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. A dirty lens can affect the quality of the projected image. • The main unit is very hot immediately after turning off the projector. 78 MAINTENANCE Procedure for Replacing the Lamp Turn off the projector and disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet. Allow the projector to cool for a least 1 hour. Detach the lamp cover by loosening a screw with a flathead screwdriver. Loosen two screws, turn up the handle, and remove the lamp.
