Side by Side (Half): Transmission of separate images for left and right sides, placed next to each other. The image’s horizontal definition is halved.LR Side by Side (Half) Top and Bottom: Transmission of separate images for left and right sides, placed one above the other. The options are Presentation, Standard and Video. Presentation: Suitable for viewing text-based images in a bright room. Standard: Suitable for projecting a computer screen or watching media played with video software in a bright room. This image mode emphasizes white tones. Video: Suitable for watching video taken with a video camera in a moderately da\ rk room. Brightness (*2)Press ◄ or ► to adjust the brightness of the projected image. ContrastPress ◄ or ► to adjust the contrast of the projected image. Saturation (*3)Press ◄ or ► to adjust the saturation level of the color. Hue (*3)Press ◄ or ► to adjust the level of hue for reproduction of the true color . GammaPress ◄ or ► to adjust the gamma correction of the projected image. The options are 1.0, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.35 and 2.5. ColorPress ENTER to enter the Color menu. See “Color Menu” on page 51. Color Temperature (*1)Press ◄ or ► to adjust the color temperature. To change the laser brightness mode, use the Power Mode setting. (*3) Adjustment is possible only when video signal is input. 53 LASER Menu Power Mode Power Level High AltitudeNormal ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Auto HDMI DISPLAYPICTURELASERALIGNMENT CONTROLSERVICE LabelDescription Power ModePress ◄ or ► to select a power mode. The options are Normal, Eco or Custom. Power LevelPress ◄ or ► to adjust custom power level. The function is only available when Power Mode is Custom. Adjust the power level may change the brightness. High AltitudeThere are two High Altitude mode settings: Auto and High. Auto: The rotation rate of the fan is adjusted automatically to match the ambient temperature and air pressure. High: The rotation rate of the fan is set to maximum. Press ◄ or ► to select a high altitude setting Auto or High. The high-altitude mode must be set to High under the following conditions: ■The elevation is 1,219 meters (4,000 feet) or above. ■The tilt angle of the projector is greater than ±10 degrees. Note: If the projector is in operation in a high heat or high altitude environ\ ment, it may shut down automatically. In this setup, you can enable the High Altitude function by selecting High and setting the fan to operate at a higher speed to maintain proper cooling levels on the projector.
