Connect the power cord to the projector. Connect the other end to a wall outlet. (“Voltage Selection” on page 6 of AC input selected.) 2. Fix the power cord to the power socket of the projector with a hook. 3. Turn on the power switch. 4. Make sure the POWER LED displays solid red. Press the POWER button on the projector or the ON button on the remote control to turn on the projector. See “Power LED Indicator” on page 99.
37 5. Press the source buttons on the remote control or INPUT on the projector to select a desired input signal. Press the POWER button on the projector or the OFF button on the remote control to show the “Power Off? / Press Power again” prompt. 7. Press the POWER button on the projector or the OFF button on the remote control to turn off the projector. Power Off? Press Power again Note: ■Use the projector’s supplied power cord. ■Confirm the projector’s power requirements before installing to make sure the power supply meets the projector’s specification requirements. ■Turn off this product when not in use to prolong the life of the projecto\ r. Laser life vary depending upon mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage. Brigh\ tness decreases over time. Warning: Do not unplug the power cord and do not turn off the power switch until \ the POWER LED solid red - indicating the projector has cooled down. Adjusting the Projector Level Take note of the following when setting up the projector: ■The projector table or stand should be level and sturdy. ■Position the projector so that it is perpendicular to the screen. ■Ensure the cables are secured and out of the way to avoid tripping on th\ em and prevent damage or injury. To level the projector on the installation surface, turn the tilt-adjuste\ r right or left until the desired angle is achieved.
38 Adjusting the Focus and Zoom 1. Press FOCUS +/- on the projector or the remote control to sharpen the projected image. 2. Press ZOOM +/- on the projector or the remote control to adjust the size of the image \ (ZOOM + increases image size, ZOOM - decreases image size). Press ENTER to enter keystone control menu. 4. Press ▲, ▼, ◄ or ► to correct keystone distortion. Keystone Horizontal Vertical0000 0000 When the aspect is set to real in low-resolution mode, OSD may become ou\ t of range depending on the level of Keystone adjustment. See “Keystone” on page 58. 39 Vertical Lens Shift The lens on a desk mounted projector can move down to up from 0% to 50% \ (0.5V). 42 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu Settings OSD Menu Controls The projector has an OSD that lets you make image adjustments and change\ various settings.
