within the specified range of dates.

You can connect a PictBridge compliant device such as a digital camera, 
camcorder, or mobile phone using a USB cable recommended by the device’s 
manufacturer, and print recorded images directly without using a computer.

3Specify the print settings such as paper type and layout. 
See “About PictBridge Print Settings” below.
You can make settings using the menu on the LCD of your PictBridge 
compliant device. Select the size and type of paper that you loaded in the 
printer.
If your PictBridge compliant device does not have setting menu, change the 
setting from the printer. For details, see “Settings on the Printer” on page 23.

You can specify whether the date and/or file number will be printed.

You can select the optimization method to obtain high print quality. When you 
select  Default , the most suitable correction for each photo is made using the

If you have a mobile phone or a PDA with an infrared port for wireless data 
transmission, you can print photos through wireless connection with the printer. If 
the optional Bluetooth unit BU-20 is connected to the printer, you can also print 
photos through Bluetooth communication.

When Printing Becomes Faint or Colors Are 
Incorrect
When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, the ink may have run out, or 
the Print Head Nozzles are probably clogged. Follow the procedures below to clean 
the nozzles.
If Print Head Deep Cleaning does not resolve the problem, the Print Head may be
