Alarm Lamp Flashes Orange
When a printer error occurs, the  Alarm lamp flashes orange as shown  below. The number of flashes 
indicates the type of error that has occurred. Count the flashes and take the appropriate action to 
correct the error.
(A) Note the number of flashes
(B) Flashes repeatedly
CauseAction
Two flashes: Printer is out of paper. /
Paper does not feed. Reload paper in the Rear Tray and press the 
RESUME/CANCEL button.
Three flashes: Paper jam. The paper may be jammed....

Power Lamp Flashes Green and Alarm Lamp Flashes 
Orange Alternately
Follow the procedure below to resolve the problem.
1Disconnect the printer cable from the printer, turn the printer off, and then unplug 
the printer from the power supply.
If the battery is attached, remove it once.
2Plug the printer back in and turn the printer back on after leaving it for five minutes 
or more.
If the problem is not resolved, make sure that the ink tank is set properly.

blocked. Follow the procedure below to resolve the problem.

Appendix
Carrying the Printer
When you remove the power cord, carry the printer, or stand it up, check that the Power lamp 
is off.
ImportantzIf you repeatedly remove the power cord, carry the printer, or stand it up while the  Power lamp is on or 
flashing, this may cause the ink to leak or the printer to break. (The same problem is caused even if you
