Using the Picture
Recording Function
This chapter describes a couple of specific examples of the
Picture Recording function using the VB-C50FSi/VB-C50Fi.
Still images and audio files can be automatically recorded
using input from an external device, motion detection or
schedule settings.

Using the Still Picture Recording Function Linked to an External Device
By combining various sensors and switches to operate according to Extern\
al Device Input settings,
it is possible to construct a monitoring system that responds to externa\

lighting changes or small movements, set the
“Duration” parameter so that picture changes lasting
a second or less are ignored and then set the “Area
Ratio” parameter so changes that occupy 30% or less
