Using Lens Filters (Sold Separately)

Attaching a lens filter to the camera protects the lens and allows you 
to shoot with various effects. To attach a lens filter, you will need Filter 
Adapter FA-DC67B, which is included with Lens Hood LH-DC100 (sold 
separately).
1 Attach the filter adapter.
 zMake sure the camera is off.
 zAlign the notches on the camera and the 
filter adapter and turn the adapter in the 
direction of the arrow until locked.

Using a Remote Switch (Sold Separately)

An optional Remote Switch RS-60E3 can be used to avoid camera shake 
that may otherwise occur when pressing the shutter button directly . This 
optional accessory is convenient when shooting at slow shutter speeds.
1 Connect the remote switch.

Using an Electronic Viewfinder 
(Sold Separately)

Shooting is easier with an optional electronic viewfinder, which helps you 
concentrate on keeping subjects in focus.
Note that fewer shots and less recording time are available than when 
using the screen (LCD monitor) on the back of the camera. For guidelines 
on the number of shots and recording time available, see “Number of 
Shots/Recording Time, Playback Time” (=
 212).

 ●Although the viewfinder is produced under extremely high-
precision manufacturing conditions and more than 99.99% of the 
pixels meet design specifications, in rare cases some pixels may 
be defective or may appear as red or black dots. This does not 
indicate camera damage or affect recorded images.
 ●Some aspect ratio settings ( = 52) will cause black bars to be 
displayed on the top and bottom or left and right edges of the 
screen. These areas will not be recorded.

Headphones can be used to listen to audio as the camera captures it 
when you shoot, or when you play back movies.
1 Connect the headphones.
 zOpen the cover and connect the 
headphones.
2 Configure the setting.

buttons to set the volume to [0].

Saving Images to a Computer
Using a USB cable (sold separately; camera end: Mini-B), you can 
connect the camera to the computer and save images to the computer
