14 Using a Household Power Source The LCD screen's backlight is brighter when the camcorder is powered fro\ m a household power source. 1. Turn the POWER switch to OFF. 2. 16 Loading/Unloading a Cassette Use only videocassettes marked with the Dlogo. 1. Slide and hold the OPEN/EJECT switch and open the cassette compartment cover. 17 Basic Functions - Preparations E Installing the Backup Battery The backup battery allows the camcorder to retain date, time ( 21) and other camcorder settings while the power source is disconnected.
