The contrast, sharpness, color saturation, red, green, blue, and skin tones in 
an image can be chosen and set at 5 different levels.
zFollow Step 2 on p. 92 to choose  .zTouch   on the right side of the screen.
zTouch  qr to choose an item, then touch 
the point on the bar where you want to 
make a setting.
zThe more to the right, the stronger/darker 
(skin tone) the effect gets, the more to the 
left, the weaker/lighter (skin tone) the

You can shoot an object at a close distance or even shoot extreme close-ups 
of it. The focusing range is approximately 3 – 50 cm (1.2 in. – 1.6 ft.) from the 
end of the lens at maximum wide angle (j).

Fixed Frame
A single AF frame will be used. This is effective for focusing on a specific 
point.
Changing the Composition with the Focus Lock
While you keep the shutter button pressed halfway, the focus and exposure 
are locked. You can now recompose and shoot. This is called Focus Lock.

zCenter the subject you want in focus, and 
press the shutter button halfway.
zConfirm that the AF frame on the subject is 
green.

screen, to focus on and shoot.
Choose the subject, face or 
location to focus on.
zTouch the subject or person shown on the

XWhen the AF frame mode is set to [Face 
AiAF], the camera will beep and display

camera will continue to focus even if the 
subject moves.

The focus can be locked. After locking the focus, the focal distance will not 
change even when you release your finger from the shutter button.
Lock the focus.

and touch inside the frame shown on the 
left.

button and touch the screen again, AF lock 
will cancel, and  % will disappear.
