This lets it automatically change the interface to IEEE 1284 parallel, USB, or Ethernet depending on which interface is receiving data. When you use the parallel interface, you can turn the high-speed and bi-directional parallel communications on or off by using the control panel buttons to access PARALLEL in the INTERFACE menu. 4. Control Panel 48 Buttons You can control the basic printer operations and change various printer settings with seven buttons (Go, Job Cancel, Reprint, +, -, Back, Set). Go Pressing Go will exit the control panel menu and return the printer to the Ready state, however, if there is an ERROR indication, the control panel will only change when the error is cleared.
