The LEDs are lights which show the printer status.
LCD4
The LCD shows the current printer status. When you use the control panel keys, the LCD will change.
If there are any problems, the LCD will show the error message, maintenance message or call service 
message so you will know that you need to take action. (For more information about these messages, see 
LCD messageson page 144.)

The message on the LCD shows the current printer status during normal operation.
 
Ready
o  o n  o       
The four  o marks (also  n, n =blinking  o) indicate the Black (K), Yellow (Y), Magenta (M), Cyan (C) toner 
cartridges from left to right.
The  o marks indicate the status of the toner in the toner cartridges. When the  o mark blinks ( n), the indicated 
toner is nearly empty. When toner becomes empty, the  o indicator disappears completely.

Reprinting documents4
Reprinting the last job4
You can reprint the data from the last print job without sending it from the computer again.
Note
If the Reprint setting is set to Off on the control panel and you press Reprint, the LCD shows 
No Data Stored for a short time.
 If you want to cancel reprinting, press Cancel.
 If the printer does not have enough memory to spool the print job data, it will not print the document.

Using the control panel LCD menu4
When you use the Menu keys (+, -, OK or Back), remember the following basic steps:
If no control panel operations are performed for 30 seconds, the LCD automatically returns to Ready.
When you press OK to choose a setting, Accepted appears on the second line of the LCD. After that, the 
LCD returns to the previous menu level.
