Make sure that you use the drum unit handles when carrying it. DO NOT hold the sides of the drum unit. To avoid print quality problems, DO NOT touch the shaded parts shown in the illustrations. dUsing their coloured handles to lift them out, remove all four toner cartridges from the drum unit.

124 eUnpack the new drum unit and remove the protective cover. fHolding the toner cartridges by their coloured handles, insert them one by one back into the drum units as shown. Make sure that you match the toner cartridge colour to the same colour label on the drum unit, and make sure that you fold down the toner cartridge handle(A) once the toner cartridge is in place. Push down the grey lock lever (1). Note When you put the drum unit in the machine, match the green guides (1) of the drum unit handle to the green arrows (2) on both sides of the machine.

When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you need to reset the drum unit counter by completing the following steps: iTurn on the machine’s power switch. jPress Menu, 6, 6. 128 cHold the green handle of the drum unit. Lift the drum unit up and then pull it out until it stops. dRelease the grey lock lever (1) that is on the left side of the machine. Lift the front of the drum unit and pull the drum unit completely out of the machine using the green handles on the drum unit.
