    							Turn on the Dark Screen mode using gestures
    When you turn on the BlackBerry Screen Reader you use gestures to complete tasks.
    1.When you have the BlackBerry Screen Reader turned on, swipe down and to the right with one finger to access Quick 
    Tasks
     mode.
    2.Tap with two fingers to turn on or turn off Dark Screen Mode.
    After 3 seconds, your device exits Quick Tasks Mode.
    Turn on Dark Screen mode using device settings
    If you use the BlackBerry Screen Reader, you can increase privacy and conserve battery life by turning off the screen 
    backlight and using Dark Screen mode.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Double-tap  Settings to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Settings menu. 
    3.Double-tap Accessibility to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Accessibility option.
    4.Double-tap Screen Reader to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Screen Reader option.
    5.Double-tap Dark Screen Mode to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Dark Screen Mode option.
    6.Close the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings in one of the following ways:
    
    						
    							b.Double-tap with one finger to activate the Verbosity field as the point of regard and open the drop-down list of 
    options.
    c.Tap with one finger set the point of regard on either the high verbosity or low verbosity options.
    d.Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    4.To set the punctuation verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a.Tap Punctuation Verbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b.Double-tap with one finger to activate the Punctuation Verbosity field as the point of regard.
    c.Tap with one finger set the point of regard on your selected punctuation verbosity option.
    d.Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    After 3 seconds, your device exits Quick Tasks mode.
    Adjust the text or punctuation verbosity using device settings
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Double-tap  Settings to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Settings menu. 
    3.Double-tap Accessibility to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Accessibility option.
    4.Double-tap Screen Reader to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Screen Reader option.
    5.To set text verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a.Tap Verbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b.Double-tap with one finger to activate the Verbosity field as the point of regard and open the drop-down list of 
    options.
    c.Tap with one finger set the point of regard on either the high verbosity or low verbosity options.
    d.Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    6.To set punctuation verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a.Tap Punctuation Verbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b.Double-tap with one finger to activate the Punctuation Verbosity field as the point of regard and open the drop-
    down list of options.
    c.Double-tap None to set the point of regard if you don
    						
    							5.In the Keyboard Echo drop-down list, double-tap None, Characters, Words, or Characters and Words to set the point 
    of regard. Then, tap to activate your choice.
    Turn on the Keyboard Echo setting using device settings
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Double-tap  Settings to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Settings menu. 
    3.Double-tap Accessibility to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Accessibility option.
    4.Double-tap Screen Reader to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Screen Reader option.
    5.Double-tap Keyboard Echo to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Keyboard Echo option.
    6.In the Keyboard Echo drop-down list, double-tap None, Characters, Words, or Characters and Words to set the point 
    of regard. Then, tap to activate your choice.
    7.Close the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings in one of the following ways:
    
    						
    							6.Double-tap Screen Reader Language to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Screen Reader Language 
    option and open the drop-down language list.
    7.Double-tap on the language to set the point of the regard. Then, tap to select the language.
    8.Close the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings in one of the following ways:
    
    						
    							 
    Customize the magnification level
    When you use Magnify mode, you can customize the level of magnification on the screen.
    To adjust the magnification without leaving your current screen, in magnification mode do one of the following:
    
    						
    							To turn on Magnify mode again, triple tap again.
    Turn on the Reverse Contrast feature
    The Reverse Contrast feature provides the option to change your display to a dark background with light text, and reverses 
    the contrast of images.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Accessibility.
    3.Turn on the Reverse Contrast switch.
    Turn on the Closed Captions setting
    The Closed Captions setting displays text on your BlackBerry device screen when you play video files that support closed 
    captioning. The captioned content specifies the default settings for Character and Caption Background.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Accessibility.
    3.Turn on the Closed Captions switch.
    4.Change any of the Character settings for Character Color, Character Opacity, Character Size, or Font.
    5.Change any of the Caption Background settings for Caption Background Color or Caption Background Opacity.
    After you change any of the Character settings or Caption Background settings, you can see the changes in the Preview 
    window.

    							Turn on Hearing Aid mode
    This feature might not be supported depending on your BlackBerry device model. This feature only supports hearing aids 
    equipped with a telecoil.
    Hearing Aid mode is designed to improve the compatibility of your device with your hearing aid. When you have Hearing 
    Aid mode turned on, 
     appears on the status bar.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Aid Settings.
    3.Turn on the Hearing Aid Mode switch.
    Turn on TTY support
    The TTY device that you want to connect to your BlackBerry device must operate at 45.45 bps.
    TTY support is designed to allow your device to connect with an external TTY device that converts received calls to text.
    If your TTY device is designed for use with a 2.5-mm headset jack, you must use an adapter accessory to connect your TTY 
    device to your device.
    1.Connect a TTY device to your device according to the instructions that came with your TTY device.
    2.In the Phone app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    3.Tap  Settings > TTY.
    4.Turn on the TTY switch.
    Tip: You can also turn on TTY support from your home screen. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap  Settings > 
    Accessibility > TTY.
    Media cards and storage
    A media card lets you store more pictures, videos, music, and documents on your BlackBerry device! The files that you 
    store on your device can be transferred between your device and your computer in just a few steps.
    Moving or copying media files and documents
    You can drag and drop documents, pictures, videos, music, and other files by using your BlackBerry device as a drive on 
    your computer.
