							Typing in Latin-based languages
The Latin-based languages that use a variation of the QWERTY, QWERTZ, or AZERTY keyboard layout support the following features:

The QWERTY, QWERTZ, and AZERTY keyboards using the Latin alphabets have different alternate characters depending 
on the language you select. For example, in French, if you tap and hold the letter A, the prediction menu displays accented 
characters for the letter A. In Romanian, if you press and hold the letter S, the prediction menu appears with

							Typing in Vietnamese
The Vietnamese keyboard supports the following features:

						

							Set your wallpaper
You can set a picture as your wallpaper. You can also choose a picture to display when your device is locked that is 
different from your home screen wallpaper.
1.Open a picture.
2.Tap  > Wallpaper.
You can edit the picture by cropping, adding filters, and more.
3.Tap Done.
4.Select Lock Screen, Home Screen, or Both.
5.Tap OK.
Tip: When all of your apps are closed, you can set the option to show only your wallpaper. Swipe down from the top of the 
screen. Tap 
Settings > Display. Turn on the Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed switch. You can swipe right to 
see all of your app icons.
Turn on rotation lock
1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.Tap .
Use your device as a flashlight
You can add the option to use your device as a flashlight to the Quick Settings menu.
1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
2.Tap  Settings > Quick Settings.
3.Select the Flashlight checkbox.
Turn off icon labels in the action bar
By default, labels appear under icons in the action bar at the bottom of the screen. The labels identify and explain the 
signature actions available to you. If you turn off this setting, icon labels don

							BlackBerry Screen Reader
The BlackBerry Screen Reader is an assistive technology that lets users with vision impairment interact with their 
BlackBerry 10 device using speech output. The BlackBerry Screen Reader uses text-to-speech (TTS) to read screen 
content, such as documents, email messages, text messages (SMS or MMS), titles and properties of media files, and other  text-based information. The 
BlackBerry Screen Reader also provides navigation cues by reading screen layout information, 
such as menu titles, page numbers, and links.
Turn on the BlackBerry Screen Reader
The BlackBerry Screen Reader is a text-to-speech (TTS) feature on your BlackBerry device. The first time you turn on the 
BlackBerry Screen Reader, the Help app automatically opens to help you learn about the gestures you can use.
1.To turn on the BlackBerry Screen Reader, triple-press the Power/Lock key.
2.To turn off the BlackBerry Screen Reader, triple-press the Power/Lock key again.
Tip: You can set your device to only turn on the BlackBerry Screen Reader from the device settings. If you don

A point of regard is a field, button, selection area, link, 
application, paragraph, sentence, word, title, picture, or 
any other screen element.
Tap the point of regard with one finger.Access Discovery mode
Discovery mode allows you to find and interact with points 
of regard, such as letters, words, buttons, links, menu 
items, and pictures. These points of regard are highlighted.
Tap and hold the point of regard with one finger, and then 
move your finger. The point of regard is set to the object  under your finger.Announce where the point of regard is set on your screen.Tap the screen once with two fingers.
You can use this gesture as a "Where am I" locator if you 
get lost on the screen. The 
BlackBerry Screen Reader reads 
the description, the location of the point of regard, and the 
application name.
Activate a point of regard
When you activate a point of regard, you indicate that you 
want to interact with that part of the display.
Double-tap the point of regard with one finger.Press and holdDouble-tap and hold.Move to the next or previous point of regardSwipe right with one finger to go to the next point of regard. 
Swipe left with one finger to go to the previous point of 
regard.Pan or scroll a listSwipe up with two fingers to scroll toward the top. Swipe 
down with two fingers to scroll toward the bottom. This 
action sets a new point of regard.
An audio cue indicates that the scrolling action is complete, 
and the 
BlackBerry Screen Reader updates the point of 
regard so that you can continue reading from the new 
location.

down and hold with two fingers to go to the bottom. This

link.
In text navigation mode, swipe left with one finger to go to 
the previous section of text or web content. Swipe right with  one finger to go to the next section of text or web content.Set the size of a text chunk.
A text chunk can be a character, word, line, sentence, 
paragraph, or a Header or link on a webpage. The size of a 
text chunk is used to identify how far to skip ahead or go 
back in a document, web content, or other text.
Swipe up with one finger while intext navigation mode to 
increase the size. Swipe down with one finger while in the
