becoming	 entangled	 in	or	 tripping	 over	a	longer	 cord.

GETTING STARTED
•	 Remove	all	packing	material	and	any	stickers;	peel	off	clear	protective	film	from	
control	panel.
•	 Remove	and	save	literature.
•	 Please	go	to	www.prodprotect.com/applica	to	register	your	warranty.
•	 Wash	all	removable	parts	as	instructed	in	CARe	And	CleAnInG	section	of	this	 manual.
•	 Select	a	location	where	this	unit	is	to	be	used,	allowing	enough	space	between	back	 of	the	unit	and	the	wall	to	allow	heat	to	flow	without	damage	to	cabinets	and	walls.
•	 Insert	crumb	tray	below	lower	heating	elements.
•	 Close	the	oven	door,	noting	that	rack	slides	completely	into	oven.
•	 Remove	tie	from	cord	and	unwind.
•	 Plug	unit	into	electrical	outlet.
Imp\frtant: This \fven gets h\ft. When in \tuse, always use \fven mitts \fr p\fth\flders 
when t\fuching any \futer \fr inner surface \ff the \fven.
N\fte:	Set	oven	to	BAKe	at	350ºF	and	set	timer	to	15	minutes	without	any	food	in	oven	
to	burn	off	any	oils	used	in	production.	The	power	indicator	light	comes	on	and	will	
remain	lit	during	the	entire	baking	time.	during	first	few	minutes	of	use	you	may	notice	
smoke	and	a	slight	odor.	This	is	normal	and	should	cause	no	concern.
S\bIDE RACK POSITIONS
The	slide	rack	can	be	used	in	2	positions.	It	can	be	slid	into	the	upper	or	lower	slots	
found	on	the	inside	walls	of	the	oven.
CAUTION
THIS OVEN GETS HOT.  
WHEN IN USE, A\bWAYS USE OVEN  MITTS OR POT HO\bDERS WHEN 
TOUCHING ANY OUTER OR INNER  SURFACE OF THE OVEN.

OVERVIEW OF FUNCTIONS
N\fte: This	oven	gets	hot.	When	in	use,	always	use	oven	mitts	or	potholders	when	touching	
any	outer	or	inner	surface	of	the	oven.
For	best	results,	preheat	oven	for	8	to	10	minutes	at	desired	baking	temperature	before	
baking	food.	
Imp\frtant: Y\fu must set the timer \fr select Stay On f\fr the \fven t\f functi\fn.
T\f Bake
1.	 Turn	the	temperature	selector	knob	to	desired	temperature.
2.	 Turn	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Bake.
3.	 Turn	timer	past	20	and	then	turn	back	or	forward	to	desired	baking	time,	including	
preheat	time.
T\f Br\fil
N\fte: Preheat	for	5	minutes.
1.	 Turn	temperature	selector	knob	to	Broil.
2.	 Turn	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Broil.
3.	 Turn	timer	past	20	and	then	turn	back	or	forward	to	desired	broiling	time.	Select	Stay	 On,	if	you	want	to	control	cooking	time	yourself.	
T\f T\fast
1.	 Turn	temperature	selector	knob	to	Broil.
2.	 Turn	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Toast.
3.	 Turn	toast	shade	selector	past	20	and	then	turn	back	to	desired	toast	shade.
Keep Warm
1.	 Turn	temperature	selector	knob	to	minimum	temperature	(Min).
2.	 Turn	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Warm.
3.	 Turn	timer	past	20	and	then	turn	back	or	forward	to	desired	warming	time.
TOASTING
Imp\frtant: The \fven t\fp and side surfaces get h\ft.
It	is	not	necessary	to	preheat	the	oven	for	toasting.
Imp\frtant: Y\fu must set the t\fast shade select\fr kn\fb as desired f\fr the \fven t\f 
functi\fn.
1.	 Make	sure	temperature	selector	knob	is	set	to	the	Broil	position.
2.	 Insert	the	slide	rack	into	the	lower	rack	position	of	the	oven.
3.	 Place	the	bread	directly	on	the	slide	rack	and	close	the	door.
4.	 Turn	the	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	the	Toast	position.
5.	 Turn	toast	shade	selector	knob	past	20	and	then	turn	back	to	desired	toast	shade.	
N\fte: For	best	results,	select	the	medium	setting	for	your	first	cycle,	then	adjust	lighter	or	
darker	to	suit	your	taste.
The	power	indicator	light	comes	on	and	stays	on	during	the	toasting	cycle.	When	toasting	
is	done,	the	signal	bell	sounds,	the	oven	automatically	shuts	off	and	the	power	indicator	
light	goes	off.
6.	 Open	oven	door	and	using	oven	mitt	or	pot	holder,	slide	out	rack	to	remove	toast.
Imp\frtant: Always use an \fven mitt \fr p\ft h\flder t\f rem\fve f\f\fd fr\fm the \fven as the 
d\f\fr and the slide rack will be h\ft.
N\fte: You	must	turn	off	the	toast	shade	selector	knob	if	you	want	to	discontinue	toasting. Tip: When	making	more	toast	immediately	after	one	toasting	cycle,	set	the	toast	shade	
selector	knob	to	a	slightly	lighter	setting	to	get	the	same	results.
BAKING
Imp\frtant: The \fven t\fp and side surfaces get h\ft.
N\fte: For	best	results,	when	baking,	always	preheat	the	oven	for	8	minutes	at	the	
desired	temperature	setting.
1.	 Open	oven	door.
2.	 Insert	the	slide	rack	into	the	oven	with	the	“l
”	bar	positioned	at	the	front	of	the	
oven.	This	enables	the	bake	pan/drip	tray	to	be	slid	under	the	slide	rack	to	be	used	
as	a	drip	pan	when	baking	or	broiling.
3.	 Turn	the	temperature	selector	knob	to	the	desired	temperature	setting.
4.	 Turn	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Bake.
Imp\frtant: Y\fu must set the timer \fr select Stay On f\fr the \fven t\f functi\fn.
5.	 Turn	timer	past	20	and	then	turn	back	or	forward	to	desired	baking	time,	including	 preheat	time.
Tip: Set	the	timer	to	the	Stay	On	setting	if	you	want	to	control	cooking	time	yourself	or	
need	to	cook	your	food	longer	than	60	minutes.	Be	sure	to	use	a	kitchen	timer.
•	 The	power	indicator	light	comes	on	and	stays	on	during	baking	cycle.
•	 The	heating	elements	cycle	on	and	off	to	maintain	the	temperature.
6.	 You	can	bake	3	ways: •	 Use	the	bake	pan/drip	tray	placed	on	the	slide	rack.
•	 Slide	the	bake	pan/drip	tray	under	the	slide	rack	and	place	the	food	directly		on	the	slide	rack.
N\fte:	Be	sure	food	does	not	extend	past	the	outer	limits	of	the	bake	pan/drip	tray		
to	prevent	grease	dripping	onto	the	heating	elements.
•	 Use	a	metal,	glass	or	ceramic	baking	dish	without	lids	placed	on	the	slide	rack		 in	either	the	upper	or	lower	rack	slot	positions.
7.	 Place	your	food	in	the	oven	for	cooking.
N\fte: Be	sure	the	top	edge	of	the	food	or	container	is	at	least	1½”	(3.81	cm)	away	from	
the	upper	heating	elements.
		8.	 Close	oven	door.
		\b.	 The	first	time	you	bake	an	item	in	this	oven,	cook	according	to	recipe	or	package	 instructions	and	check	at	minimum	time	to	see	if	it	is	done.
10.	 Once	cooking	cycle	is	finished: •	 If	the	timer	was	on,	the	signal	bell	sounds,	the	power	indicator	light	goes	off	and	the	oven	automatically	turns	off.	
•	 If	the	timer	was	not	on,	turn	the	Timer/Toast	selector	from	the	Stay	On	position	to	 the	off	(0)	position.	The	power	indicator	light	goes	off.
11.	 Open	oven	door	and	using	oven	mitt	or	pot	holder,	slide	out	rack	to	remove	food.
Imp\frtant: Always use an \fven mitt \fr p\ft h\flder t\f rem\fve f\f\fd fr\fm the \fven as 
the d\f\fr and the slide\t rack will be h\ft.
12.	 Turn	the	temperature	selector	knob	to	Min,	the	cooking	MOde	selector	knob	to	 WARM	and	the	toast	shade	and	60\fminute	timer	selector	knob	to	off	(0)	before	
removing	plug	from	electrical	outlet.	Unplug	appliance	when	not	in	use.

1.	 Turn	the	temperature	selector	knob	to	Broil.	
2.	 Turn	the	cooking	function	selector	knob	to	Broil.

3.	 Turn	timer	past	20	and	then	turn	back	or	forward	to	desired	broiling	time.	Select	Stay	
On,	if	you	want	to	control	cooking	time	yourself.	
4.	 Place	food	on	slide	rack	with	bake	pan/drip	tray	inserted	directly	into	the	slide	rack	 slots	below	the	slide	rack.
5.	 Place	food	on	top	of	the	broil	rack.
N\fte: Be	sure	the	top	edge	of	the	food	or	container	is	at	least	1½”	(3.81	cm)	away	from	the	
upper	heating	elements.
Imp\frtant: F\f\fd sh\fuld n\ft extend bey\fnd the edge(s) \ff the\t bake pan/drip tray t\f av\fid 
drippings fr\fm falling \fnt\f the heating elements.
6.	 The	first	time	you	broil	an	item	in	this	oven,	cook	according	to	recipe	or	package	 instructions	and	check	at	minimum	time	to	see	if	it	is	done.
7.	 When	finished	broiling: •	 If	the	timer	was	on,	the	signal	bell	sounds,	the	power	indicator	light	goes	off	and	the	oven	automatically	shuts	off.	
•	 If	the	timer	was	not	on,	turn	the	Timer/Toast	selector	knob	from	the	Stay	On	position	 to	the	off	(0)	position.	The	power	indicator	light	goes	off.
8.	 Using	an	oven	mitt	or	pot	holder,	slide	out	broiling	rack	together	with	bake	pan	to	 remove	food.

d\f\fr and the slide rack will be h\ft.
Care and Cleaning
This	product	contains	no	user	serviceable	parts.	Refer	service	to	qualified	service
personnel.
C\bEANING YOUR OVEN
Imp\frtant: Bef\fre cleaning any part, be \tsure the \fven is \fff, unplugged\t, and c\f\fl.
Always	dry	parts	thoroughly	before	using	oven	after	cleaning.
1.	 Clean	the	glass	door	with	a	sponge,	soft	cloth	or	nylon	pad	and	sudsy	water.	do	not	use	 a	spray	glass	cleaner.
2.	 To	remove	the	slide	rack,	open	the	door,	pull	the	rack	forward	and	out.	Wash	the	slide	 rack	in	hot	sudsy	water	or	in	the	dishwasher.	To	remove	stubborn	spots,	use	a	polyester	
or	nylon	pad.
3.	 Wash	the	bake	pan/drip	tray	in	hot	in	sudsy	water.	To	minimize	scratching,	use	a	 polyester	or	nylon	pad.
Crumb Tray
1.	 Pull	out	crumb	tray.
2.	 dispose	of	crumbs	and	wipe	tray	with	a	dampened	cloth,	or	wash	in	sudsy	warm	water.
3.	 Be	sure	to	dry	thoroughly	before	inserting	the	tray	back	into	the	oven.
ENG\bISH
Exteri\fr Surfaces
Imp\frtant: The \fven t\fp and side surfaces get h\ft. Make sure the \fven has c\f\fled 
c\fmpletely bef\fre cleaning.
Wipe	the	top	and	exterior	walls	with	a	damp	cloth	or	sponge.	dry	thoroughly.
C\f\fking C\fntainers
Metal,	ovenproof	glass	or	ceramic	bakeware	without	glass	lids	can	be	used	in		
your	oven.
Follow	manufacturer’s	instructions.	Be	sure	the	top	edge	of	the	container	is	at	least		
1½”	(3.81	cm)	away	from	the	upper	heating	elements.

INFORMACIÓN GENERA\b DE \bAS\t FUNCIONES
N\fta:	este	horno	se	calienta	cuando	está	en	uso.	Siempre	utilice	guantes	para	hornear

Para	obtener	mejores	resultados,	caliente	previamente	el	horno	a	la	temperatura	que
