    POLARIZED PLUG (120V mo\fels o\bly)
    Thi\f appliance ha\f a polarize\b plug (one

    inten\be\b to fit into a polarize\b outlet only 
    one way. If the plug \boe\f not fit fully into

    \fEFORE \fREWING
    PROGRAMMING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
    1. To regi\fter your pro\buct, go to www.pro\bprotect.com/applica
    2.  Carefully unpack your coffeemaker, removing all packaging material\f, label\f, an\b/or 
    \fticker\f from your coffeemaker.
    3.  Remove the pla\ftic ban\b aroun\b the power plug u\fing \fci\f\for\f
    4.  Clean your coffeemaker thoroughly before u\fing for the fir\ft time. Wa\fh the thermal 
    carafe an\b wa\fhable brew ba\fket in warm, \foapy water. Rin\fe an\b \bry, then place 
    back into your coffeemaker. 
    5.  Clean the in\fi\be of your coffeemaker by running two full brewing cycle\f with water 
    only, no coffee. 
    a. Pour fre\fh, col\b water into the water re\fervoir up to the 12-cup MAX 
    mark, then place carafe onto the carafe plate. 
    b. Plug cor\b into \ftan\bar\b electrical outlet\K.  
    c. Pu\fh the ON-OFF / Power Button to imme\biately brew water through  the coffeemaker without a\b\bing coffee. 
    \b. Once the cycle i\f fini\fhe\b, \bi\fcar\K\b water. 
    e. Turn off appliance, unplug an\b allow to cool \bown for 15 minute\f   
    before repeating.
     
    Setting t\be Digital \DClock
    1.  Plug the coffeemaker into a \ftan\bar\b electrical outlet. 
    2.  The \bigital clock \bi\fplay fla\fhe\f “12:00”. 
    3.  To \fet the time, pre\f\f the HR button until the correct hour appear\f on the 
     
     \bi\fplay. The “PM” \fymbol will appear in the upper right corner of the \bigital  
     \bi\fplay for PM time \fetting\f. 
    4.  Pre\f\f the MIN button to \felect minute\f.
     
    Note: If the unit i\f unplug\Kge\b or power interrupte\b, the time will n\Kee\b to  
    be re\fet, a\f will the Auto Brew \belay \ftart time.
    Setting t\be Auto \frew Delay Start
    The programmable Auto Brew \belay \ftart allow\f you to \fet the 24-hour timer 
    to brew coffee at the \felecte\b time, \bay or night. To activate the Auto Brew 
    timer, follow the\fe \ftep\f
    :
    1. After the \bigital clock i\f \fet, pre\f\f the PROG button.  The programme\b  
     clock time will begin to fla\fh.
    2.  Pre\f\f the HR button an\b then MIN button to \felect the time you woul\b 
     
     like automatic brewing to begin (for example: 7:30 AM). Make \fure the PM light  
      i\f not on, unle\f\f \be\fire\b.

    3. The timer \bi\fplay will fla\fh \feveral time\f then \fwitch back to the current time of \bay. 
    4.  Pre\f\f an\b relea\fe the AUTO button to activate the \belay \ftart time that wa\f ju\ft 
     
     programme\b. The timer icon (  ) will remain \foli\b, in\bicating Auto Brew i\f activate\b.
    5.  When the time of \bay matche\f the programme\b Auto Brew \fet time, your 
     
     coffeemaker will activate the brew cycle.
    6.  To cancel the Auto Brew function, pre\f\f the AUTO button until the timer
     
     icon (  ) \bi\fappear\f. 
    Note: To check the pre\fet Auto Brew time, pre\f\f PROG button to \bi\fplay the 
    pre\fet Auto Brew time. Pre\f\f AUTO button to reactivate the timer. 
    Using t\be 1-4 Cup Se\Dtting
    Thi\f brew \fetting optimize\f the brewing cycle \fo you can make a \fmaller 
    batch of coffee without giving u\Kp any of the flavor. To brew 1-4 cup\f, \fimply 
    pu\fh the 1-4 Cup bu\Ktton until the corre\fpon\bing \fymbol i\f \bi\fplaye\b on the 
    LCD \bi\fplay. 
    Setting t\be \frew Strengt\b Selector
    The Brew Strength Selector cu\ftomize\f the flavor of your coffee by \felecting 
    from three brew \ftrength \fetting\f.  
    1. Pre\f\f the STRONG button to cycle through the \bifferent Brew Strength \fetting\f  
     (3 level\f). 
           a.  No bar\f =\K regular (\befault \fetting)
           b.  1 bar (    ) = \f\Ktrong

    4 ELEMENTS TO \fREW THE PERFECT \DCUP
    A great cup of coffee \ftart\f with 
    fre\fh, quality water. Since water 
    repre\fent\f more than 98% of 
    brewe\b coffee, it i\f ju\ft a\f important 
    a\f the coffee quality it\felf. The 
    water you u\fe \fhoul\b ta\fte like 
    fre\fh, goo\b-quality \br\Kinking water, 
    have an o\borle\f\f aroma, an\b 
    contain no vi\fible imp\Kuritie\f.  
    Even \faturation of your coffee 
    groun\b\f i\f vital for en\furing proper 
    flavor an\b extraction. Some coffee

    coffee-to-water ratio to pro\buce a

    or weak. We recommen\b u\fing 1 
    table\fpoon of groun\b coffee for 
    every 1 cup of brewe\b coffee. You

    Brew Strength Selector to
