In extremely hard water areas, consider using distilled or demineralized water, however, use tap water the first time you use the iron and once a month thereafter to maintain steam perfor- mance. 3. STEAM IRONING Be sure there is water in the reservoir. Turn the Temperature Selector Dial between settings 4 and 7. Unlatch the Steam Button to the Up position. If steam doesnt start, gently bump the soleplate on the ironing board a few times. If water drips from vents, turn the dial to a higher setting.
